Mary F. Dunn, BSN, CNM, MPH

KEEPS Principal Clinical Study Coordinator, Kronos Longevity Research Institute

Mary F. Dunn is the KEEPS (Kronos Early Estrogen Prevention Study) Principal Study Coordinator for Kronos Longevity Research Institute (KLRI). She oversees the eight KEEPS clinical study centers. Ms. Dunn is responsible for reviewing study protocol compliance requirements, filling recruitment/randomization quotas, quality control of data entry and tracking of adverse events.

Prior to joining KLRI, Ms. Dunn was Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Women's Health Initiative at the University of Arizona from 1993 to 2004 where she hired staff, provided training for clinic staff in Tucson, provided physical examinations and acquired equipment for both the Tucson and Phoenix clinics. She served as Clinic Manager from 1997 to 2004 and was accountable for daily clinic operations.

Prior to her work at the University of Arizona, Ms. Dunn served as Nurse Practitioner and Team Leader at the Pima County Health Department Family Planning Clinic. She held the role of Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Arizona Department of Internal Medicine, Clinical Research Unit. Ms. Dunn has also worked as a Certified Nurse-Midwife, Assistant Professor and Child-Birth Educator.

Ms. Dunn received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Michigan, Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and a certification as a nurse-midwife from the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
